The links below provide all the information you need, but read further on for for all of the small print.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/u3adacorum.org\/staging\/2026-membership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here<\/a> <\/strong>to <strong>complete the online membership form<\/strong>, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/u3adacorum.org\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/2026-MemberEnrol-V1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here<\/a><\/strong> to <strong>download and save the editable PDF form<\/strong> to your device.<br><br><em>(If your browser only allows you to view the form, download and open it in an editor such as Adobe Reader to complete it.)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Membership Fees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We offer two annual membership options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Single membership: \u00a312.00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Joint membership: \u00a322.00 (for two people living at the same address)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each membership includes one copy of the u3a Dacorum Digest, our quarterly newsletter, sent to your registered address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Third Age Matters (TAM) Magazine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TAM is published by the Third Age Trust and is available online through their website.<br>\nIf you prefer a printed copy, you can request one on your membership form for an additional \u00a34.20 to cover postage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Membership Renewal Dates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The membership year begins on 1st April.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you join between 1st January and 31st March, you pay the full fee, but renewal will not be required until 1st April of the following year. (You will get 1, 2 or 3 months free.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you join before 31st December, your renewal date will be the next 1st April. (A partial first year.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Bank Payments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note: Some banks now verify the name of the account holder when making payments. Our bank, Metro Bank, does not yet participate in this scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Visitors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Anyone\u2014including members of other u3as\u2014may attend up to two meetings before joining u3a Dacorum.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All attendees, including visitors, are asked to pay the standard meeting fee:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a32.00\u2013\u00a33.00 for hall meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a31.00 for home meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Gift Aid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The instructions are included on each Gift Aid form. Should you wish to include Gift Aid, <a href=\"https:\/\/u3adacorum.org\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/2025-GiftAid-v1.00.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here to download the \u2018gift aid\u2019 form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Privacy Statement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We only use your data to manage the contract we have with you. We pass data to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Third Age Matters magazine, if you pay for postage, so that they can deliver it to you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Digest printer, so that they can post it to you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HMRC for tax purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are a group coordinator, we will provide you with a dedicated group email address and also ask you which, if either, of your name and phone number you wish to have displayed.
