Military History

St John's Church Hall, Boxmoor

There’s free 3 hour parking immediately outside the church in Heath Lane (between St John’s and Station Roads). No return within 4 hours. There’s usually space there, but if full there is on street parking nearby and a pay car park in Park Road.

The Military History Group meets once a month on the first Wednesday, every month except January and August.

We are a friendly, vibrant, healthy group and have a mix of speakers that might be either one of our own, a professional, such as an author, or an experienced military person.
In August we usually have a trip to somewhere of interest, such as the Honourable Artillery Company, as pictured.
The entrance fee is £3.00 which includes tea or coffee and very fine biscuits! Should you wish to see a list of our upcoming talks, please do not hesitate to contact me, we would love for you to join us.
