Our Spanish Language and Culture group explores both the language and the rich traditions of Spain and the Spanish-speaking world. Alongside practical conversation, we discover how customs, food, festivals and everyday life often differ from those in Britain. Understanding these cultural differences makes communication more enjoyable and meaningful, while providing fascinating insights into history, regional identities and the Spanish way of life in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Let’s speak Spanish. An opportunity for those with some knowledge of Spanish and an interest in Spanish culture to practise speaking the language on topics of interest and in general conversation.
This is not a class, but an informal self help group with members at different levels of proficiency.
We share our knowledge, learn from and assist each other in a relaxed atmosphere.
