The ukulele is a cheerful, easy-to-learn instrument that brings people together through music. Our U3A Ukulele group welcomes both complete beginners and experienced players to enjoy making music in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Members learn new songs, improve their playing techniques and discover the pleasure of performing together. Whether strumming familiar favourites or trying something new, fun and laughter are always part of the session.
The group meets twice a month and there is a beginner’s session at 9.30am followed by the main session.
At the beginner’s session there are ukuleles available, provided we know in advance.
