Japanese Conversation

The Japanese Language and Culture Group has been re-named to Japanese Conversation. This is to reflect the revised way in which the group is now working.

A small group meets twice per month in a member’s home to practise speaking and reading Japanese.

A wider group of members with an interest in cultural aspects of Japanese life will be kept informed by email about topics of interest, eg newsletters, TV programmes, films, talks, exhibitions and the like. We hope to bring this group together in person occasionally to take part in some practical activities eg origami, ikebana, Japanese cooking or similar.
