From the coordinator: I have been running the Backgammon group for 9 months and so far it has been very successful, with an average of 12 players turning up each monthThe first hour is spent with me pairing players to play each other, and I go around seeing how they are getting on and advising them on how they could and should play their moves.
The second hour is taken up with me playing against everyone there. I then ask the Group what they collectively think are the right moves for them and also for me, and then advise on what I would play.
The Group collectively are very friendly and willing to learn, and their increased confidence and improvement are noticeable.
