We do Ballroom, Latin, popular Sequence and a couple of line dances to warm people up. There are three DJs who take it in turns to keep the music varied and interesting.
We give lessons, teaching the basic steps and rhythm of a different dance each week. We will then follow it with a simple related Sequence dance so that the basic steps are reinforced, with experienced dancers on each side of the beginners.
Ballroom and Latin dancing invokes memory, balance, rhythm and movement – just what we all need to stay fit and healthy – so don’t worry if you are a single, we’ll do our best to find you a partner.
Dress code is ‘Strictly Casual’. Please don’t be shy, particularly if you are male: your Tea Dance Needs You!

Easiest parking is in Durrants Hill Road car park. Cost is £1.10 (card or coin) for three hours.
Fees are £3.00 per person, plus 50p for refreshments, including all visitors. All visitors, including members of other u3as, may attend twice before joining u3a Dacorum.
